Study on dynamic characteristics of electro-hydraulic control valve for PCCI engine fueled with dimethyl ether

摘要

Valve timing and lift variable control can be realized by electric-hydraulic drive device, which makes the Dimethyl ether (DME) premixed combustion pressure combustion (PCCI) engines to achieve the purpose of high efficiency and low emission combustion. An electric-hydraulic drive system of control valve was designed in this paper. The influence rules of hydraulic oil pressure, hydraulic piston diameter and valve mass on premixed control valve dynamic characteristics were analyzed by mathematical model and AMESim simulation calculation method. The results have shown that the peak values of control valve lift and velocity enlarge with the increase of hydraulic oil pressure and hydraulic piston diameter. The control valve oscillation frequency at the maximum lift is affected obviously by hydraulic piston diameter. Valve mass has a little influence on the peak values of control valve lift and speed, but it has great effect on the amplitude of the control valve. The problem of control valve seating impact can be solved efficiently by taking strategy of damper orifices hydraulic brake.
